The Q7 project

The Burbo banks project
In 2006 Smulders Projects delivered twenty five WTG foundations for the offshore wind farm "Burbo banks", built in LIverpool Bay at the entrance to the River Mersey, United Kingdom. [ top ]



The Barrow project
In 2005 Smulders Projects delivered the thirty WTG foundations and the foundation and steel structure for the offshore high voltage station for the offshore wind farm "Barrow ", located 7 kilometres south west of Walney Island, near Barrow-in-Furness, Wales, United Kingdom. [ top ]



The Kentish Flats Projects

In 2004/2005 Smulders Projects delivered thirty WTG foundations for the offshore wind farm "Kentish Flats", located 8,5 kilimetres due north of Herne Bay and Whitstable on the North Kent coast. [ top ]



The Arklow banks project
In 2003 Smulders Groep delivered the first seven foundations for the offshore wind farm "Arklow banks", 7-12 kilometres off the Irish coast, due east of Arklow, Co Wicklow. One of the best off-shore wind resources in Europe. Totally, the Arklow banks project has planning consent for a 200 turbine wind park. [ top ]


The Horns Rev project
In the spring/summer of 2002 Smulders Group delivered the foundations for the first large offshore windfarm ever built to the west coast of Denmark. In a period of 4 months the total of 80 foundations were successfully built, setting an example for future offshore windfarms. [ top ]


The North Hoyle project
In 2003 Smulders Groep delivered thirty foundations for the offshore wind farm "North Hoyle", built 7-8 kilometres off the North Wales coast between Presatyn and Rhyl. [ top ]
